1. Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Khanh Thong Le ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application Retouch: Body Editor (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store for iOS devices. By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
Retouch: Body Editor is an on-device photo retouching and body & face reshaping editor. It uses Metal-based liquify and retouch tools that run locally on your device's hardware. This Policy applies only to the App and not to any third-party websites, services, or applications you may access separately.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information about you. The App is designed to function entirely offline, and it does not transmit your photos or any usage data to us or to any third party.
Your Photos
The only data the App works with are the photos you choose to edit. When you select a photo from your Camera or Photo Library, the image is loaded into the App solely so that the editing tools can operate on it. All photo processing happens on your device. Your photos never leave your device and are never sent to us or any third party. Edited images are saved only when you explicitly choose to save them, and they are written back to your own device storage (your Photos library or the location you select).
Camera & Photo Library Permissions
To let you bring images into the editor and save your results, iOS will ask for your permission to access certain features:

These permissions are optional and can be granted, limited, or revoked at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos / Camera on your device. The App does not access your photos in the background and does not scan or index your library.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or have access to: your name, email, phone number, or contacts; your precise or approximate location; device identifiers or advertising identifiers used for tracking; analytics or telemetry data; crash logs sent to us; or any account credentials (the App has no accounts or login). We do not display third-party ads or use third-party analytics SDKs.
3. How We Use Information
Because the App does not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to use. The photos you load are used solely on your device to provide the editing functionality you request (for example, applying liquify, reshaping, or retouch adjustments and rendering a preview). The App does not use your images for advertising, profiling, model training, or any purpose other than the editing you perform.
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, social media SDKs, or cloud-processing services. We do not display third-party ads or use third-party analytics SDKs.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your download and any payment for the App (where applicable) are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your personal payment details from Apple. Aside from Apple acting as the distribution platform, no third party receives data from the App.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share any personal information, because we do not collect any. Your photos remain on your device under your control and are never shared by us with any party. If you choose to share an edited image (for example, via the iOS share sheet to another app or contact), that sharing is initiated and controlled entirely by you and is governed by the privacy practices of whichever service you use.
6. Data Retention
We do not retain any of your data on our systems, because none is transmitted to us. Photos and edited images are stored only on your device, for as long as you keep them there. You can delete any image at any time through your device's Photos app or file storage. Uninstalling the App removes the App and any settings it kept locally; your original photos in your Photos library are not affected by uninstalling.
7. Data Security
All photo processing happens on your device. Your photos never leave your device and are never sent to us or any third party. Because there is no upload, transmission, or server-side storage involved in editing, there is no transfer of your images that could be intercepted in transit by us.
The security of the data on your device is further protected by iOS's built-in protections, including app sandboxing, the device passcode, and (on supported devices) Face ID / Touch ID and on-device encryption. We encourage you to keep your device updated, use a strong passcode, and enable device encryption to protect the photos stored on it. No method of electronic storage is ever completely secure, but keeping all processing local removes the network-transmission risks associated with cloud-based editors.
8. Your Rights
European Economic Area, United Kingdom & Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, data-protection law gives you rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data a controller holds about you. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. The photos you edit are under your own control on your device, and you can manage or delete them at any time. If you believe we hold personal data about you, you may contact us at thongintech@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing for us to disclose or delete on our side. You may still contact us with any privacy question at thongintech@gmail.com.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect any from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at thongintech@gmail.com and we will address the matter promptly.
10. Your Choices & Data Requests
The App has no user accounts, so there is no profile to manage and no account data to export or erase. You control your information directly through your device:
- Permissions: Grant, limit, or revoke Camera and Photo Library access in Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Your photos: View, move, or delete any photo or edited image using your device's Photos app.
- Uninstall: Remove the App at any time to delete it and any locally stored settings.

Because we do not collect identifying information, we may be unable to associate any request with data held by us — but in nearly all cases there will be no such data, as nothing leaves your device.
11. International Users
The App is offered from Vietnam and can be used worldwide. Because all processing is local to your device and we collect no personal data, there is no cross-border transfer of your personal information to us. Your use of the App is subject to this Policy regardless of where you are located.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be made available before they take effect where required by law. Your continued use of the App after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
